Yay I have started doing some work! Unfortunately I still don't have a computer or access to pictures I wanted to use as a reference for wacky skin backgrounds. So in the mean time I threw some paint on paper for a background and am waiting for it to dry so I can get crazy and put an angry scribble face on there. I think I should buy shellac and impasto to experiment with tomoro, maybe I will put a wash over the background... Dunno yet :). I am going to keep making scribble faces for fun, here are a couple with biro and then trying out charcoal. I'm using my phone so sorry for poor picture quality. I haven't made progress on the baking for tomoro... What about a superbarn cake or muffins? Yum! See you guys tomoro :)

My idea
6 ideas sounds like a few too many to me, but I have got at least 1. Unfortunately I am half asleep now so won't be particularly coherent... But I plan to expand from my idea of using colour and style to express/represent emotions from last semester. I want to use acrylic paint in rough, abstract expressionist inspired paintings similar to how I did the 8 small square canvases except bigger. So I will have some fun with paint again. Yippee! I have also considered using pictures of my skin with bruising + scars (my body seems to always be battered from playing soccer too violently, oops) as an interesting texture to loosely use in the paintings, after I had so much fun with skin photos in the Tattoo brief last year. I have no pictures yet sorry, except I guess the skin photos and small paintings from last term. Do they count? here is the url for my tattoo pic
